EMA Trend Alignment
Exponential moving averages emphasize recent prices. The scanner calculates EMA 20, 50 and 200, then compares price position, ordering, slope and normalized separation. A tiny crossover receives less credit than an established, expanding alignment.
MACD
MACD compares 12- and 26-period exponential averages and smooths their difference with a 9-period signal line. The engine evaluates line position, histogram sign, expansion, contraction and recent crossovers.
RSI
The 14-period Relative Strength Index measures recent directional momentum. The scanner examines current range, multi-value slope, recovery, deterioration and overextension.
ADX and DMI
ADX measures trend strength while +DI and −DI indicate directional dominance. Strong ADX with clear +DI leadership supports bullish trend evidence; −DI leadership supports bearish evidence.
ATR
Average True Range measures volatility using gaps and intrabar ranges. ATR is divided by price so contracts such as BTC and DOGE can be compared on a percentage basis.
Bollinger Bands
A 20-period average and two standard deviations form the upper and lower bands. The scanner interprets bandwidth, middle-band interaction and position alongside trend strength.
Supertrend
Supertrend combines a 10-period ATR with a configurable multiplier of three. Its line and persistent direction provide a volatility-adjusted trend confirmation.
Ichimoku Cloud
The engine calculates Tenkan, Kijun and correctly displaced Senkou spans. Price above a supportive cloud and Tenkan above Kijun strengthen bullish evidence; the inverse supports bearish evidence.
On Balance Volume
OBV accumulates volume according to close-to-close direction. Recent OBV slope is compared with price behavior to identify practical accumulation, distribution and divergence conflicts.
VWAP
Crypto trades continuously, so the scanner uses a UTC daily session VWAP for consistent intraday positioning. VWAP slope, price position, reclaim and rejection help evaluate entry timing and trend confirmation.
Important Structure Layer: Support and Resistance
Support and resistance are calculated from confirmed swing pivots rather than treating every candle high or low as a level. They remain separate from the ten primary indicator score so the scoring maximum stays transparent.
For a LONG setup, confirmed 1H or 4H demand anchors the pullback entry and structural stop while resistance is checked before TP1. For a SHORT setup, confirmed higher-timeframe supply anchors risk while support is checked before TP1. The candidate is rejected when opposing structure blocks the first target or the structural stop would exceed the 5% total-position loss limit.
